This is why I think that I was never comfortable in church. For feeling tha I would never be forgiven by the people of the church itself for allowing a couple of F-bombs to slip on occaision. Even though that is what I say when I smack my toe at night. I could never let them see me. I was never comfortable. I try now to be just me at all times. I know that is good enough for God.
We have people drop f-bombs while teaching at Bible study (not often, but it does happen). And my pastor was teaching (at our big weekend meeting) on Galatians, and those verses where Paul says several times "may they [those who were adding works to the gospel] be eternally condemned," he was like, "what he's basically saying here is 'God damn them!'" I was like, whoa, only at Xenos would you hear that said from the pulpit!
