How many people can name the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World? We tried tonight...and I think we got TWO of the seven! I think I need to go back to school. Here they are...courtesy of our friends at Wikipedia:
the Great Pyramid of Giza
the Hanging Gardens of Babylon
the Statue of Zeus at Olympia
the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
the Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus
the Colossus of Rhodes
the Lighthouse of Alexandria

i feel somewhat dumb....but really, how many people can name things that may or may not have even existed, let alone exist now...
and the grand canyon and victoria falls are 2 of the 7 wonders of the NATURAL world
The Seven Natural Wonders of the World
Mount Everest
The Great Barrier Reef
The Grand Canyon
Victoria Falls
The Harbor of Rio de Janeiro
Paricutin Volcano
The Northern Lights
Actually, the list we composed was made up of a combination of the seven wonders of the: ancient world, natural world and the medieval mind, according to the lists I found on wonderclub.com--they have a bunch of lists of "wonders".
So, we were on the right track!
